Two shots from today, not outtakes, neither suitable for the current challenge, although quite nice in their own right

If only the challenge was "Frame a Window"

Comments welcome

I don't suppose anyone has any shots of what this challenge should look like?

Like could it be a person standing on the inside of the window looking out. Can the photographer be outside looking in?

I don't see why that couldn't be an acceptible setup. There's stil la window, you're still looking through it, no matter what side you're on :)

I'm not so sure... both make me really want to look out the windows at the exterior, which for me is nicely framed, and makes me very curious at what's going on out there. The highlighted exterior really seems to be the subject for me. I wouldn't have thought DNMC.

My windows are ugly and the scenery outside them is boring... unless I stumble upon something I'm out... LOL

I will be randomly visiting friends and relatives for this one.
"Hi Gramma/Uncle Dan/Cousin Joe/my roomie's girlfriend's ex best friend's girlfriend, I need a picture, can I shoot it through one of your windows?"
Sad thing is, they wouldn't that strange anymore - everyone's used to it by this point.

David Lachapelle's "Elijah Wood"
Always desirable to recreate David LaChapelle whenever possible, haha.

Are they not outtakes just because you dont like them?

Just asking.

There's some existing opinions and examples in this earlier thread on the same subject.
