I will, however, vote.

I'm the same but I ended up putting something in for the learning expirence.

Well, I may regret it, but I'm in.

Pulled the furniture out of the way, put up the lights and background, got the camera out, metered the lighting. Everything ready. Power up the lights and camera, go to the side pocket of the camera bag for the hot shoe / synch cord adapter, only to find that it is missing. 30 minutes of searching, I'm out of time - model's patience is shot - have to resort to my old P&S, which ironically does have a synch cord connector built in.

Not near the flexibility of the DSLR, but it got the job done (I hope).

Could be a week of regrets though.

I'm really looking forward to this one starting although portraits aren't my bag.

I think my entry should do relatively well although I think the 'BIG GUNS' will be entering this one...

Good luck all and bring on the roll-over!

Way shift and bend under pressure, Sam! Can't wait to see how it came out!

I think mine is pretty good and should score 6 or above. But that usually means I'll get a low 5. But I agree, the big guns will clean up in this one.

Don't give me too much credit really! My best portraits didn't really score well here, and I think this one will be the same. I finally got it down to 4 shots, 3 were text book portraits - one was a portrait with style...... I went with the flair! :)

There are way less entries than I thought a challenge like this would have, I was expecting 300 plus!

9 minutes to choose a photo LOL..yikes

Just submitted, with minutes to spare...will I finally break 6 this time? If so, I have promised to pay the model the handsome fee, of $5. She was delighted at the prospect!

Don't forget goodman...and Joey isn't too bad with a portrait either.

It has been so long since I've entered a challenge, I got that giddy feeling of anticipation again... :)

I'm putting my money on Sonifo - she's pretty good with portraits.

HA! After several below my average photos I'm back in the game -- so watch out!

200 entries. At least I know I'll be in the top 200.
