HELP!!! Went out shooting today and all I got was black images!! I changed the CF cards, battery, lenses, tried every mode and I get nothing but black!! Has this happened to anyone else? I went to Canon's site but they had nothing on this problem!

Have you uploaded them to your comp or are you viewing in camera... has the display broken maybe? really sounds like a blown sensor doesn't it?.. I think you best bet is to take it to an expert really for a diagnostic report and estimate.

Really sorry for you it must be terrible. I hope you have back up to shoot with until it gets repaired.. good luck

EEP!!! I don't suppose it's under warranty, is it? If not, I don't suppose we could make this a nice excuse to buy a new camera?

Man I didn't even have sensor dust .. why would it just blow like that? It's got a little over 7,000 images taken ... I have a warranty *whew* but I don't want a "fixed" camera .. it will break again!! Edit to say .. just found out my whole camera will be replaced *Yipee* I will end up with a better camera!!! Thank goodness for extended warranties!!!
