Okay, I need to approach a few groups about shooting events for them (horse shows, dog shows, charity events) and need to put together a presentation of sorts.

I'm super short on cash right now, SUPER SHORT, so a nice book is out of the question. I have the trail version of Fotofusion and quite stock to choose from for samples but I need help with the letter part. Two letters are what I'm looking at. With one, just my services and such and the other letter would be more a charity thing, donating part of the sales back to the organization, fundraiser type thing. Any ideas where there might be a place on line that has some samples?

Deannda
thanks in advance

while I can't help much since I am only a poor hobby photographer, I am a businessman and can give some tips on that point of presenting. some of these may be simple and I am sorry if you already know this stuff.

first dress for the job. your first impression is very important so put your best foot forward.second, in your letters and presentations talk about how you can help them and why they can't afford not to hire you. know all the possible answers. nothing kills a presentation more for me than the person not knowing something I think they should. do not be too relaxed, being nervous (but not too nervous) shows that you care and are more likely to do a good job.

hope that some of this helps. I know it seems simple but these are the things missed most when people present to me.
