The hardest trick of all is to capture interesting story to put in a sequence. Once you have that, just open all images (all 2 or all 3), pick one, expand canvas to double or triple the width, select another one or two, select all (ctrl + a), and copy into the expanded image.
You can move the images individually, and use stroking around individual layers to frame the individual images...
but, the most important thing again is to pick a good sequence.
Good luck,

Make a NEW file for the final image with a larger canvas, then with the other images open just drag them over to the new, large canvas file. They will appear as new lyers and you can move each one seperatly.
EDIT: Oh and use the move tool to move them around, upper right corner in the tool pallete.

Thanks to the wonderful intructions from Refwhett, I tried my hand at a tripych. Now these are just an attempt to see if I could get one to look like something besides a mess. So I seem to have the idea down but I am lost at the size. Even when I print it on 13x19 paper the height is only about 4 inches. Actually is looks likes 3 4x6 pictures.
I think the riders might really like the idea of this picture because it shows the whole jump. Since this was my first time shooting steeple chase I have a lot to learn..
Any way feel free to hit me with any and all suggestions..
I like the 2nd one the best..
PS I want to grow up to be as good as BradP is at these things.. =)
TIA
K

Try switching the 1st and last photo in both tripychs. I think the sequence would be better that way. |
