I took these easter portraits yesterday of my neighbors 2 kids. Im curious as to how i did "professionaly". poses,editing...the works. I did this as a favor to her because money is a serious issue with her family right now. She has seen these and loves all of them so I know i did great in her eyes...now i want to know from you. what could i do to fix these now(if anything, but i know theres always room for improvement) or what to keep in mind for the next time.

The girl was a breeze to do! The boy on the other hand was a little rough but i think i got some great personality shots of him. I got about 2 "posed" shots of him then he went to clowning around. I just kept shooting (like the trooper i am) and he wouldnt take his socks off to save his life and wouldnt put shoes on! I did a couple versions of the same photo of the girl and could decide which one i like better.
Time to tell me what ya think....Im ready!

My favorites are the black and white of the girl and the picture of her lying down. My favorite of the boy is the second picture of him standing.

The only thing I can say is I wish they were wearing something different for Easter Pictures. Great job on the pictures.

I find them over soft , i think they kind of look unnatural for my taste. Other wise great.
I am planning a easter portrait also , inspired from a magzine cover i saw recently

Plus shes a good friend and i dont mind doing it...she just might throw some paying customers my way someday when Im more confident about what the heck Im doing!

We all have to start somewhere and Its usualy at the bottom.
