I saw story somewhere on a guy who was a nature photographer and he had painted all of his big L glass camoflage because the white finish was too obnoxious in the field.

Speaking of which, while you are at it, you might have fun making a Double exposure filter.

Take an old crummy filter ring, cut a circle of black cardboard which would fit well into the ring, then cut the circle in half. Tape it back in with black tape and make sure it's STABLE and has a sharp, straight edge. You might want to use some rigid plastic instead. Make sure it's fully opaque.

Mark some measurements on the outside of the filter to help you align it and you will have something that will allow you to do fun Graphicfunk style dual exposures in Basic Editing.

Yeah i am one of those people, but i did it back in the 90s before you could just go and buy everything. I had to think of everything myself, and be original about it. I did have the matching colored lights in them too. The blue one had blue neons ofcorse.

The black one had putple neons ofcorse, with fans and different LED power buttons and all that. I made the Blue one for my brother and the black one is mine.

So, when are you going to start selling those?

You might as well, cause when Canon sees how good that came out I can only imagine them flooding the market with white "L" lenses for point and shoots. Of course they'd price them accordingly, $500-$1000... ;-)

Dude, you rock! Nicely done! My camera is going to have to call your camera Big Daddy or something now... ;)

until I get the 30D of course...

And maybe it will have to wait until after I return the EOS 1n...

Fantastic stuff though, I know I'm envious :)
