Wonderful start - this is exciting. Congratulations to all the winners, particularly Pentax and 20D, great work.

PENTAX RULES!!

I've got a 6.25+, I also have it on good authority that manic35 has a 6.6+ which will be damn handy. Lets hope DD, bazz, faidoi and Pug-H have some good entries for Round 2.

If we can get 4 scores over the 6 mark it should be enough to carry us through the 'bye round', sorry the Olympians Round. ;-) That means we only need 2 more 6+ scores from DD, bazz, faidoi or Pug-H.

I have it on good authority that what you have listed on your scores are very close to what we are carrying at the moment. I wouldnt count on the "bye" round this week. We had an off week and still lost by .02? Good luck this week. BTW I'm 6+ at the moment myself.

Congrats guys! SMITE are head of the wildcard board, yay! How is that calculated?

Also, would be handy if the members of the team whose scores counted had their scores highlighted in red each week or something.

Hey this might be a close one.
My score won't be in our top 4...I only submitted to one and it's pretty very bad.

cheers,
bazz.

lololol, imagine that...we smash The Dag 7 only to turn around and get taken by the Olympians! What the!!!

Calling DustDevil, calling DustDevil......do you have an entry for Round 2 mate? ;)

Congrats everyone...way to go. Yes I have 3 entries for rnd. 2. 2 6's currently...and chrome which is at the very bottom :(

Team Pentax have the bye this week, (aka the Olympians), and wish you all luck for the rest of the comp. :)

Yeh! :)

(educated guess) - 3 teams make it to the playoffs - the two division leaders and the wildcard team. You'll notice the current division leaders do not appear on the wildcard standings.

Posted this to wrong thread, so here it is:

WTG TEAM OUTCASTS! We eked out a narrow victory over Team FZ, outscoring them by just over .01 points. Tough match, Team FZ!

Now we face Team Nikon in Rd 2; you know they're gonna be smarting after their loss to Team 20D despite their 6.5+ average score, so we need to bring our best game to this round. I'm holding in the 6.3 range with one of my challenge entries this week, 6.4+ is possible, so we've got one decent score going. Go, OUTCASTS, go!

Well, while I contributed a little bit to the Team XT win this week, you guys are gonna have to carry me next week. Jump is doing AWFUL and I didn't manage to get anything in either open challenge. Sorry.

I have two challenges going that are pulling in some decent scores. Thanks for you help last week, we really needed it.

Thanks Bear, it was a tough match. I wasn't even expecting the score I got for my image, but I'm happy that I got it. This is going to be a tough next week for Team FZ as we go up against the Icelanders in Color Studio Portrait....
Great job so far FZ, keep it up.

See if you can get Langdon to add special rules: "No blondes..."

Now that Lent is nearly over, I'm happy to offer my services for hire if any current member feels like they can no longer carry the torch forward.

Are new teams still allowed to form?

No new teams; it's full, but there are some considerations for substitute photographers, so you might want to keep yourself available in case someone wants out.

OK, well, you heard it here. I'm available.

The wildcard race is all teams that are not in first place in both divisions. The team with the highest W/L% will be the wildcard team. If a tie in the W/L% then the tie breaker is Team Average.

I don't see what that would serve except pointing out who's score did not contribute and may make those photographers want to bail out of the league when they will be needed week to week.

Not for this season. You can request to be put on the substitute photographers list by requesting to be a sub at WPL. Or you can go ahead and be forming a team for next season.

Yes, I am smarting over our loss to Team 20D. Rikki's timing for an all time high was incredible. Congratulations to them for a great come from behind win.

It's great to be a part of this competition and to be a part of Team Nikon. I can safely say they'll be carrying me for Round 2, but watch out for Round 3. They are challenges I love, AND I have a new lens.

If only he'd do that.... Although I'm sure they'd find some incredibly good looking brunette and still win. I'm moving to Iceland.

Ah... but there's the REST of the special rule: "No blondes... and you can't use a model from past challenge entries." ;-P

Or one that has won Miss World, or even one that is from Iceland. Let's see what you do now! :)
