***WARNING*** this is a borderline RANT but not enough so that it is in the RANT category !!! :{}
This week I took aloss in the MS challenge that some may have read about / entered. Artan beat me by two spots ... So naturally, even though I have a top-10 image, I'm still whiny about things.
The thing that bothers me (or that i am projecting my annoyance toward), is that the highest placements in this category for the most part seemed somewhat trite - ideas that have been done time and time again ... this doesn't exclude my image!!!! I guess I was just looking for some more original takes on the topic.
I realize this is sort of like an election ... I vote the way I believe and that's what everyone does :)
i don't want to seem completely negative ...
I thought I would add some images that I found refreshing and that I scored highly:
Please don't FLAME me ... I just needed to get this out there.

| I agree. Top ten are technically excellent, but I've seen this type of image over and over at DPC - even in the short time I've been a member. |

Well, maybe the new open challenge will shake things up a bit - all new things. It'll be nice to see technical skill and new subjects in the top 10 :)
