I've noticed things I never noticed before. I was outside playing with sidewalk chalk with the little one today and I look over and see a buttercup that had come up between two paving stones. Was thinking in my head "aww, how sweet is that. I need to come take a picture of it. And it will look so neat with everything in black and white but the buttercup."

Yep, I've officially lost my mind to looking for art everywhere I go lol.

When you start talking to people in the street (only they don't know), saying things under your breath like, "Move a little to the left. Little more, Little more, now look up" and "Take the hat off. Take the hat off. Take the hat off." and when you start following interesting looking people to see if they will do something interesting, and when you stop dead in the middle of a very busy sidewalk, unmindful of the traffic jam you are causing so you can get the light just perfect, you will know you have lost it.

My husband has called me a stalker on more than one occasion. I can't help it. The voice tells me to.

Since taking up photography, I can hardly drive without my eyes wandering off the road, studying the light and scenery, thinking the same thing: "that would make a cool picture!" One of these days its going to get me into a wreck.

This is the reason I decided to seriously take up photography. I was noticing little things, like shadows, details of architecture and nature, great reflections, and wanting to share them with people who look but never really see. My daughter taught me how when she was tiny and every ant and leaf was new and fascinating, and we've kept that interest since.

LOL! Yep, I hear you there. I've almost been in a few myself looking at 300 year old farmhouses on the way to my daughters preschool.
