Eventually you should figure out that there are alot of reasons for loss of resolution. Focus is focus, its either in or not.

When you blame OOF on every bit of lack of resolution you might be a newbie.

If you think all blurry photos are OOF you might still be a newbie.

If you think you can judge sharpness from a less than 150kb image you might still be a newbie.

Even if the original is sharp, when you resize to DPC sizes, it will become blurry. Since these are the versions voters are marking, they should be sharpened, or they will obviously get "too soft" votes/comments. You can't expect people to know if the original is sharp or not, since thats not what they're voting on.
