Ok, I got some new toys today... Canon 24-70 2.8L (nice!), Canon 10-22 (also nice!) and a B+W thin polarizer for the 10-22. I guess you can't use a lens cap with the thin polarizer -no grooves for the cap "teeth." They include a cheap plastic "stick on" cap that doesn't really stay put on the filter and always falls off.

How do you get guys that sucker to stay put on your thin fiters? I also bought the lens hood for the 10-22, so I guess that protects it a bit, but would still like to keep the cap on sometimes when needed. You'd think spending $150 on a filter, it would come with a better lens cap for it that actually worked. :-/ Thanks.

Well I got a Heliopan polarizer a few weeks ago for the same lens, and it didn't even come with a stick-on cap. Good thing I have the hood. :-(

A stick on cap (as scalvert mentioned) should come with that B+W filter. Mine did. Not that it works all that great.

Um, no. I do have occasional bouts of sanity. It's THIS one for $125.
