Do you really think so, there was only six leaves by themselves which does not seem like a lot to me, (NO, not mine at all!) and there were a few bark/trees but did not impress me as being too many at all. Amount of animals surprised me, but seemed to fit the challenge, mostly anyway!

Yeah, I was thinking the same after seeing one of the entries. There are few entries that I've ever seen that literally make me sit back and gasp. The winner in the "Singled Out" challenge did it.. the one with that guy's eyes.. heh.

I just realized I left the wrong photo up for the challenge. I'll now never know if this is indeed correct statement or not. Perhaps a
"could this have done better" thread after it is all said and done...

Try this. Go to THISpage. The 7th line down (other than the DPC header) will say:

Stats: You have rated 0 of 404 images (0%) in this challenge.

Also, when you click on an individual pic in the challenge to rate it, a similar thing will be written bellow the box where you enter comments.

Textures I - 7.249

AVERAGE SCORE:
Textures I - 5.165
Textures II - 5.146
Textures III - 5.125

So, looks like if you have a 7.2 you are the winner ;o)

Ok there are some other really good ones in this. Still that first one I think is going to smash the record for highest score in a Texture challenge, I think.

Also, I need to remind myself to avoid entering any reptile challenges. Damn there are some good shots of that.

Usually, I can pick out 5 or 6 that will probably make the top 10, but this time I can't. There are just too darn many. I am almost positive I know which will win.. but after that I'm just baffled. Can we have 50 top 10s? :)
