The Masters

So I am thinking after last weeks runaway that Phil just might get his second Green Jacket! Or it could be Olazabal's time again!

Hey, if anyone is in Augusta for the Masters you must try a restraunt located downtown called Tap Taps. My brother Tony owns the restraunt. Tell him I sent you. Tell him I said to give you a beer on the house.

It is!

I wish upon all my lucky stars that someday I can just walk the hallowed grounds of Augusta National. Feel the spirit of Bobby Jones and Gene Sarazen. If I got the chance to play Augusta I think I could die right after the round, my life complete!

Amen, Amen! The thought, not the corner! I'm heading for the TeeVee now for some pure, unadulterated pleasure. I look forward to this long weekend every year; it's one of the high points of my year. I haven't missed a Masters in probably 25 years, and OH the memories I have :-) I'd give anything to one year before I die somehow secure a guest badge for this tournament...

One of my pursuits currently is that of a professional golfer. I am currently located at one of the PGA TOUR'S TPC golf courses practicing and sharpening my skills in anticipation of the U.S. Open, U.S. Amateur, etc. So, I truly enjoy watching such historical grounds being divoted to shreds in hopes of golfing immortality. I am only currently an amateur, but hopefully in time I could elevate my game to levels that might be worthy to compete at such a high level. So, if anyone wants any golf tips, shoot em' my way. Oh and after Day One, my predictions are Vijay Singh, Geoff Ogilvy and the hot Phil Mickelson. But then I love greatness, so Tiger is still right in there with an even par.

So who's it gonna be today. I say Phil shoots lights out with a 67 and Vijay shoots even par.

04/07/2006 04:20:26 PM · #12
I was wrong (go figure). Phil shot an even par 72. Vijay +1 thru 10.
But Chad Campbell shot the lights out 67 and is the leader in the house at -6 for the Tourney.

Adam Scott will come good (Go the Aussies) and so will Sergio!

I like those boys! They are both 8 shots back. Both shot 2 over 74 today and 146 total for the Tourney.

They are gonna have to pick it up going into the weekend!

Good to see you back Bob ! I would like to see Nick O'Hern in the hunt in the last round, he has been so unlucky and deserves a good finish.

What a Sunday at Agusta! I'm on the edge of my seat. I say Tiger wins number 5 for his Dad it could be the last he see's.

I can't see how anyone could bet against Tiger with him this close and the emotion of his father's health. I am a terrible golfer but I would love to be able to walk the course (with my camera of course) as it is one of the most beautiful in america.

G'day Tim

Good to be back, thanks mate!

MMmmm lookig at the stats I think its gotta be Phil Mickelson now, he is playing with such confidence opposed to Tiger who is not attacking especially off the TEE where he is 10 yds behind Phil,

Geoff Ogilvy is looking at a top 10 finish, how good is that for him!
