OK, here's the scenario: A good friend of mine that has a graphics/marketing/advertising/media presentation type business is working on a project (a promotional video and materials for a Christian Retreat center) asked me if I would be interested in going there and taking some basic stock type people shots of the retreaters. He asked me if so, what would I charge. I said I would work something up and get back with him. I'm wondering what to charge for something like this. It is totally new ground for me.

-obviously, I'm not a pro (yet :-) )
-it would be just one day, for probably a couple or few hours
-travel is not too far, about 30-40 min. probably
-I would consider it a great opportunity for myself, great experience
-I do consider it kind of a favor to help my friend out, but...it is business. I would probably just do it for what it cost me (very, very little really), but Trav wants to pay me, it is for his business, he doesn't consider it personal at all.
-it wouldn't require prints or anything, just end results workable files
So I guess what it comes down to is, I just need to cover what little expenses would be involved, and a little for my time and to make it 'official'.
