Anyone out there setup an image gallery in golive6?
How do you get an image to replace another on the same page? |

I use golive 6.
I'm not sure what your question is though.
and I have to go now.
but if you want to pm me, I'll see if I can help you.
I'm not saying I can, but I may be able to!!!!
Or you can just elaborate in this thread.
either works.

| Trying to set up an action in go live to replace an image when a thumbnail is clicked like a rollover but it changes a different pic than the one you click on, I have tried this several times but it does not work outside of golive on a website |

I recently put rollovers on my site and they wouldn't work outside of the program.
then I found out that there was a javascript file that had been created by golive and for some reason it hadn't been uploaded to the hosting server along with the rest of the files..
as soon as I did that, it worked fine.
let me know if that works.

i use GoLive and have found rollovers to be a major pain in the ass. I basically gave up on them. If you figure it out, post a step by step, because I would love to know as well.

| where did you find the javascript file and where does it go on your site? CGI bin or in a folder for itself? |

I take it this is what my cricket talk sound to fotomann when a post a cricket shot - I JUST DON'T have the faintest idea what you people are talking about.
Am I the only one that doesn't understand?

I think it may be a lot easier than that!
Open up the folder on your PC that has all the saved data in.
And you should find a folder in there called "generated items".
this folder has a java script file in it.
simply upload the complete folder to your host where you upload the rest of your stuff.
and that's it.
maybe hit refresh.
I just tried it on another of my websites and it worked.
Let me know if it helps?
