I have given myself an assignment... to go out and look for signs of spring. I have already taken many pictures in and around the area where I work, so this new assignment gives me a reason to get out and shoot some more, looking for new angles or new ways of illustrating spring. My wife is the avid gardner, and it's my assignment to keep up with her every season change... so with that, I'll offer two of my favorites of this season so far, taken this season.

Couldn't resist the one with the geese. It "IS" mating season, ya know? It is so funny to watch how they choose their mate!! LMAO

What is this "Spring" of which you speak.

Our snow *is* melting! Look,you can see the rocks underneath!


Not being contrarian, this *is* a sign of spring here!

Indeed... and another one in some places I have lived and worked at was the mere fact the the snow and ice had melted enough that you could see the yellow or white line in the middle of the road.
