It's been a while since I've been here at DPC.
I just wanted to say it was my original source of inspiration and helped my passion grow into a profession.
I am now working for 3 studios doing wedding work and my business is growing every day.
I thought i'd show some recent shoots...
engagement shoot
maternity shoot
the maternity shoot was the first I've ever done...the couple was a blast!
I am continuing to try new things and work hard to make it all happen....thanks DPC!

Congratulations and welcome back, your story is a good lesson for all who wish to make photography as a profession.
Its something a always tell my kids "you can be anything you want to be if you try hard enough"
Now how about you enter a few challenges.

thanks guys!
believe me it isnt easy....especially running a business.
Every day i change my mind and think i must be crazy to be shooting weddings of all things(major stress).
I am still trying new things and am unsure which area will prove to be the best for me to focus on.
Three years ago I had a part time job as a bookkeeper...had no training ever in photography...yes..anything is possible if you want it bad enough.

I love the engagement session. The candids are marvelous. You've really captured their emotion. Great work!

(BTW, you work is great...how long did it take you to get together a portfolio of that size? and how long did it take you to start earning money at the stock agencies?
I am thinking of going in that direction... but doubt i have the dicipline necessary for it.)
