Well, I've been so busy lately I haven't been around here much, but I wanted to share with the community that got me back into photography a major milestone...
Tomorrow (actually today now... in about 7 hours) we will start construction on our basement, including our home studio. Our contractor will be on scene bright and early at 8:00 to "break ground" on our basement finishing project.
6 to 8 weeks and about $25k will turn this...
Into a 1500 square foot finished basement, including a 800 square foot studio and office for our budding business. In the end we'll have a 12 by 20 camera room, 12 by 16 office, kitchen area, bathroom, and sales/presentation area.
Now we've got no excuse not to get clients! :)
Its sad packing up what has been our studio for the last 6 months, but I guess in the end it will be worth it... That's leeleeo folding up one of our backdrops in the first photo... :(
I'll be trying to keep my blogger site up to date, and of course I'll share progress here if anyone cares...
I'm nervous, and babbling, so I'm going to go to bed now... ;)
