Now that the entries are in, I'm just curious how many people chose to use the expanded advanced editing to help their photos? I was curious because I really didn't think about it until now, but my entry would have been legal even under regular advanced rules.

Did you make use of the expanded editing rules for your entry?

I only used sharpen on mine, never used any of the advanced rules...

I edited like there was no tomorrow. It was a nice change of pace.

I was surprised at how little photoshop was used on the entries I have seen so far.

I had a fuji 1400 1 Mp camera back then - it was totally auto, very sharp and saturated pics w/o PS - so it is what it it.
It is a 4.6 pic....it is disappointing. LOL

I used levels, sharpen, and cloned out a few white specks here and there.

no more than usual ..

All I did was sharpen and adjust the contrast, no more!

I did do a bit more than usual.

Used some blending filters but that's okay for Advanced.

Did a little bit of major element shifting although it wasn't the focal point.. just needed to play God to make the background the way i wanted it :-p

Didn't have enough pixels to work with to do much more!

I simply did what needed to be done. Nothing heroic, nothing fancy. But the difference between that pic processed yesterday and that pic processed a few years ago is AMAZING!!! It looks like it was taken with 2 diff cameras! I've really learned a ton about PS and image processing in the last few years.

Left mine edited to what I did a LONG time ago to it. All I can say

No editing, just cropping and spotting out a few white spots.

Interesting you ask...my entry is a full size shot with no significant post processing at all - pretty much an out of cam shot. Yet two of the comments I have received say it looks over sharpened. Sorry - that is how that cam I had at the time produced pics.
