I believe it records a limited EXIF. It has date/time and a few other items. But it did not have exposure details.

The Textures IV submit page "Rules at a Glance" is incorrect. It shows the old dimensions instead of the special rules regarding that. Just thought I point that out in case that hasn't already been made.

Hate to say this, but the circumference is a dimension, so if you are using that criteria, going to be a LOT of very small photos in this!! Course the area would be a dimension also, but that would be pixels squared???? LOL

My pic looks huge uploaded. But you sure see alot more detail with the new dimensions granted. This is gonna be fun. Thanks Site Council!

is this dimension change just for this challenge or a general change going forward?

It's just an experiment for now.

Was just browsing through the older Textures III challenge gallery. Boy where there a couple of underrated images there. Not that there isn't in any challenge but the placing of these surprised me.

Might I add, that challenge was my first one here at DPC ;)

Everyone of those probably would have scored better if they were in color.

Darn!

I decided I was going to use my daughter's Nikon Coolpix 2100 for this challenge and try to score higher than a 5.0155 so I could get onto the Coolpix 2100 page. I took the photo a few days ago and edited it, and I just went to enter it. As I was looking at EXIF for shutter speed, etc., I discoved that I was an idiot on Sunday when daylight savings started. Not only did I set the time one hour ahead, I set it ONE MONTH AND ONE HOUR AHEAD! IDIOT!

If I feel like it, I might reshoot. Maybe not. It was a REALLY borderline 4.8-5.0 shot.

Still trying to get use to Daylight Savings and server times, is this challenge starting now (in 30 minutes) or am I a day early. :)

Something inside was telling me I was rushing for nothing :) 18 re-edits to go with 10 odd already, no thanks I have enough time to re-shoot now.

C'mon Rikki...If you don't get something in for Textures, how can I continue to promote my Batman profile image???

Speaking of profile images, do I need to do something special for the Yellow mini-challenge?

I got mine in. Tried something different and probably will get spanked by the voters as usual, we'll see.

You got a Textures IV image yet Rikki?

I have entered mine but I don't think it's that interesting.
