So I took my handy dandy little SD400 out when I went to pick up my son from school and as we pass the strip mall a few blocks before we get home, a truck in the parking lot catches my attention out of the corner of my eye. I practically lock up the wheels slamming on the brakes and whipping into the parking lot. My son is thinking I've lost my mind until I tell him "The Cheese Man! The Cheese Man!!" ...then he KNOWS I've lost my mind.

You HAVE lost your mind; as long as poor, benighted fools like you pull stunts like this, we'll never see the end of these damned cheeseman references that are clogging the very pores of DPC and choking the life out of her. It's only a matter of time until we all turn into a collective mass of limp limburger...

I was only online briefly yesterday and I saw that (of all the posts) - I think that's partly why it triggered a response. Good thing my dog and my son only suffered minor cuts & bruises from the last minute detour - I'd have a hard time explaining this and it would end up in one of those TRUE INSURANCE CLAIMS emails.

Yes, but I rarely have such fine photography done of them ;-) And at the expense of life and limb...

I'd give ya a hug, but that would be awkward and look funny... too many photogs around here too :-)

Don't be a dick. ;-)

edit to add winky/smiley, lest I be in violation of the new rules and be made to stand in the corner

Anyone who knows me knows I'm not the "hugging type" but we could run at each other real fast and jump up and slam our chests into each other or I'll just settle for a high five. :)

High five it is. Running causes sweat, then you have sweaty chests slapping together... just gets messy.

Not to change the subject (actually I'm just milking the tangent), but I just thought of a loophole in the forum rules about calling people names - If I say "don't be a dick" - I am not actually calling you a dick, just advising you not to be one. Hmmmm...

And good advice that would be... how could you possibly be punished for such kind advice?

another loophole - say I wanted to call out fotomann....well, instead I could say "he who plays with cheese but cannot be mentioned by name here"

That image is soooo, going on my profile... :-) Too bad there was a Username Challenge this week. I would have officially changed my screen-name so Art could get that ribbon.
