Hi anyone into fitness and yoga here?
I have few question. Well i used to do yoga in morning just after waking up now i have decided to do in evening, say around 6 pm. I try to have my meal by 1:30-2:00. I just wanted to what is minimum time i need have my last meal before yoga. Normally they suggest that one should yoga empty stomach. Due to some reaon i cannot do yoga in morning |

Well, I'm not "practically" into Yoga but being from India know a bit about it :). Its does not really matter "much" if you don't do it empty stomach but there needs to be sufficient time between doing Yoga (or for that matter any exercise) and last meal. Generally 2 hours is enough for body to be fit for Yoga. But since Yoga goes beyond just body, there could be more distractions (and even toxins in body) to give your "full" to Yoga if you do it later in evening. Btw, some people even recommend doing it at late at night (but they do dinner before sunset!) more so for the reason of "peaceful" time (just like morning). But all said and done - doing it "anytime" is better than not doing it at all :)
Anyway, I guess it would be better to check with some certified Yoga instructor on this one.
