muahahah...

Yeah...anyway, the battery-powered RC thing only lasted so long. So I picked up this nitro-powered t-maxx today. This thing is a beast. The body is aftermarket and supposedly not around anymore and in mint condition. The guy at the hobby store said to take it off and hang it on the wall lol...anyway...here's a pic. I bought it used so it has tons of modifications to it:

They look like a lot of fun - I can see my oldest kid needing one of these for Christmas in the next year or two :-) Have a built in head-start on the toys challenge huh :-)

Edit: Cause I cannot spell or type for nuts..

I told you, you'd love it ;-) Awesome ain't it?

Yep...definately awesome. I have to adjust the throttle linkage some tomorrow (I need a small allen key), basically the throttle is opening too far and the throttle rod thing is coming in contact with the spur gear nut, and then adjust the brake some too...then I'll be golden.

This just makes me want a brand new t-maxx 3.3 so much more haha.

I believe you can mount even bigger engines than 3.9 on the T-Maxx 2.5 chassis. :-) It's super-expandable with tons of aftermarket goodies. :-)

Yeah? I was reading and there's a ton of stuff you can do. I might use this one to mess around with, and get the 3.3 REVO to race...if I ever find a track.

I will NOT buy a Revo...I will NOT buy a Revo...I will NOT buy a Revo...I will NOT buy a Revo...I will NOT buy a Revo...

I'll probably end up with one...darn it!

Yeah once you go nitro it just changes the fun:) I remeber when I got my Kyosho Burns... that was years and years ago. I traded my Tamiya Bruiser in on it which was electric. But now I prefer the ones that fly:)

With my radio control skills, I'd have a scale-sized version of a Kamakazi... NOT GOOD!

Ah come on nothing gives ya that ah Sh!T feeling realizing you are no longer in control of it, and no matter what you do with the control does nothing. That 15 minute of fuel turns into a long chase. :P

I've flown one with a friend, I can deal with the rudder and alerons, but the elevators scare me a bit... LOL
