ShutterStock just gave us a raise from $.20 to $.25

From ShutterStock Site:

"We've got some great news!

Within the next few hours, all ShutterStock submitters will be given a raise to 25 cents per download!

For those of you who are making 20 cents/download - this is a 25% raise! We decided to bump everybody up to the same rate - whether you were making 23c/download or 20c/download before today.

We are reaching record payouts week after week, and expect this to continue.

Thanks for helping us make ShutterStock the largest subscription stock agency in the world!

Regards,
Jon Oringer, Founder/CEO
ShutterStock, Inc."

This is just great news! More money from everyone

I'm hoping istockphoto will follow suit, as they are my better performer.

I'm on $73.66 - It could happen but not guaranteed. I haven't got tonnes of images, any hardly any decent ones - I'm settling down at around $0.80 a day atm

Oh man--you beat me to it! I wanted to be the first to let fellow DPC'ers know. :o) Either way, this is great! I'm so glad I got up and running with them. 30 pictures accepted in the last 3 days and counting...

oh, and how come some of us were on $0.23?? Was it because we were around before the referral syatem? I've never understood, but didnt like to complain :)

no it wasn't because of the referral system, cause that was around from the beginning.

I am not sure why, but they gave a raise near the start to everone who had been around a while (or maybe everyone) and then people who joined later still got the 20cents/download.

and boo hoo.. i am a slow on the ball here.. i wanted to be the first to announce this :(

:)

Since you live in Norway. How do you deal with payments from the various places? American cheques can't be cashed here without difficulties - an it's very expensive too.

Paypal.. If you don't use it yet then get onto it. It's great.
Basically I get paid into it, & when I have enough funds, I can buy over the internet. On e-bay when looking for sellers, if the y accept paypal it is a great advantage.
Yeah I was on 23 c also. Damn only 2 c raise & the others got a 25% raise!
