Took a few pics of work colleage and fellow DPC'r xtine yesterday after work in order to try and improve my portrait work and begin to build up a better portrait portfolio

Comments and criticisms, tips and tricks welcome

I really like it. I like high contrast bw photos. What makes this portrait work is the natural smerk on her face. Her expression is very pleasing to view. Great job.

Another one of Christine (Xtine) that I really like, I think it gives a little more about the personality than the previously posted one



And one taken today of Kirsty. Learned today (after I took the pics) about putting reflectors under the models face to eliminate nose and chin shadows. Fixed a bit in PS but definately a good learning experience (also a very shy model)



Tips and/or comments to help me improve my portrait work most appeciated
