I finally stopped by an area that I have wanted to check out for a while now. There is an un-obtrusive sign in Suwanee, GA for the Suwanee Greenway. I have seen this countless times, but haven't had a chance to see what it is. Well, this morning after sitting in Atlanta traffic for 30 minutes to go about 5 miles, I decided to give up on the commute and stretch my legs. I am glad I did, this place was alive with birds. Here are a few of the pictures.

One of the very cool things about this place is that it was once considered a wasteland due to toxic dumping, but now it is thriving with wildlife.

Comments are welcome, and yes, I wish I had a dSLR with a long lens.
