It's been a while since I posted any of my non-challenge photos here, so I though I'd upload a few for you all to take a look at :)

So, when I make the great journey from my home just under the Second Severn Crossing (SSC), why don't I ever see or take shots like those?

How about seeing some of your SSC shots of this, as you must have some great sunset pics?

The Temple Meads shot is very atmospheric. I love the woman in it.

Well done!

I've only actually ever been there once to take photos, and that was for a challenge entry:

That was so long ago, I should definately go back now I have a better camera and more experience :) I probably walked past your house when I was there! I have lots of other photos from the same trip on my external hard drive. I will dig them out later and apply my new-found editing skills on them :) Thanks for the reminder!

If you managed to get to the simpleviewer, you must have been able to use the first flash menu? Don't worry about it though, it's highly out of date, hehe :)

it says "SimpleViewer requires the Flash Player."

I like all the shots, I especially think that the feel you generate with exposure is brilliant; it really enhances the concept and compostion of all these shots; its seems very constructed and precise; the lighting is just how you wanted it. nice area, great shots.

I was in Bristol at the weekend for a party! It was a hell of a long way to go for a party, but there you go.
The photos are great... is it me or are they a bit on the dark side though?
03/30/2006 09:01:24 AM · #18
I did process them quite dark, but they still look alright to me, but that could also be perhaps my monitor (small cheap one for uni).

I hope you don't mind but I used one of your shots as the rough basis of a painting I just did.
