This is Duke he is a Rhodesian ridgeback. I had to go to my Boss's house and he had the front door open and this is what was waiting for me!

He is 6'6" on his hind legs and weighs almost 200lbs.

What do you think of the capture?

Thanks!

I love this dog I have known him since he was 13 weeks old. I try to wrestle with him but I am toast in 10 mins and he is just getting started.

Duke is the most well behaved dog. He knows all the commands and performs perfectly off lead. Brent, I agree and the Rhodie is my fave as well.

Thanks Tuckersmom!

Ridgebacks are beautiful dogs - just not quite as cute as a Pug. ;-)

Good capture!

I cringe when I see these dogs.

When I was in elementary school, I had to walk past a house that had two of them. The owners put up hedges/bushes along their property and the dogs would *hide* between the bushes. They ran snarling out on me many times (never any barking, which made it scarier) and one of them actually bit my little sister (who was like 3 at the time and in our yard playing -- wasn't serious, thank goodness). Despite repeated requests, the owners would not keep them contained during the morning and afternoon minutes we needed to get to the bus stop and back.

I know, I know, I know. Two dogs a breed does not truly represent. They are beautiful, I jus' don't like 'em. :)
