What a joy! After a month of non-participation, I have three photos above the update button!
The one I like the most is the playtime photo, and it is currently holding the lowest score of the 3.
Maybe tomorrow morning things will be better...

It's sitting pretty darn close to my water entry, and my previous entries - with the exception of the Deja Vu one, which I really blew (or is that brown?).
I guess I'm just a 4-to-5-ish photographer.

kashi there's always room for improvement. I'm sure mine won't be in the 6 range by the time this is over- it just dropped to a 6.0 btw.
I usually sit in the low 5's lol. Just keep shooting and practicing! |

Oh, I'm not complaining. I'm new here, I'm using a pretty basic P&S camera, I don't know the manual settings yet, and I'm using and old photo editing software (PSP 5.3). But - I'm learning, and I'm loving it.
The way I see it - given all I just stated, sitting mid 4's to low 5's is a pretty decent start.

| go have a look at your camera "profile" kashi. There are 134 users on this site with the same camera as you, and your "hands of time" shot is number 20 in the ranks. Thats pretty good for someone who has just started out here. : ) |

Okay - how cool is that ?? My "Love of a Child" is at about #23 too.

I didn't expect this to do well. It's a snapshot. I pulled out the one I spent alot of time on at the last minute and entered this instead because the first one was "dark in nature". Maybe after the challenge is over I'll post in the forums the other shot and get opinions. |

I've been looking at the old scores I jotted down, and this seems to be the "Morning After" downward trend? Always dips the morning after the Challenge begins. Why is that?
I hope it goes back up...usually does. :S

Went to bed with 6.2 last night. Now it's at 5.9...
I'm thinking I just don't have that "wow" factor. However, I still think it's my best challenge entry so far. :)

My scores are horrible...guess thats what I get for trying to enter at last minute after not shooting for 3 years. Well hey on a happy note...it leaves me a lot of room for improvement:)
