Yep, I just changed the title again. At this point, I have changed the title on the entry as many times as I changed the entry itself.

Abstract titles could be adjectives, a descriptive word or two...

Literal title: "Dog Poop at Sunset"

Abstract title: "pupquake"

glad to be of service...

did mine in half an hour with no idea before walking around the house looking for things that looked interesting. Usually you pay when you do it that way.

You may be surprised. Many times the spontaneity of this technique really comes through in the image, and it does amazingly well.
Its not a picture of a toilet, is it? I hope none of those show up, but I suppose there isn't much on a toilet that could lend itself to macros, unless it hasn't been cleaned for awhile (Yuk)

That's what I did. Not an idea in my poor head. Walked around looking today, in the house. Bingo! Nice entry! (I think...)

I'm lucky that my family collects odd junk. :-) I think (once again probably to be proven wrong) that I have a good chance with this one.

I most certainly wish you the best of luck, but for some reason I get a little scared when thinking about a Macro and what you may do with it. :)

Mines in. Family members seem to like it.
We'll see if it's DPC material.
03/28/2006 10:54:13 PM · #37
Well against my better judgement I entered one. I know its not DPCish, but Im entering it because I like it:P It will either score high or low, But it is cool:)

I just changed my entry from typical flower macro to some thing unusual. Here are the entries I withdrawn.

I am glad that I withdrawn these. They really suck. I have a question. I used 17-85 lense. Can this lense be used for macros or I need to buy a new one? Does macro filter help?

Hey I'm in at the last second. Last time this happen the results weren't so good but I think this time might be different. If not I'm gonna to have to kill some people. :)

Most of the entries I checked out weren't very abstract...and many of them weren't very macro either. What's up with people? I would say on 80-90% I could immediately tell what they were.

Didn't you hear? We don't have to meet the challenge description anymore. It's just a suggestion.

Shoot what you want and enter it in. Everything's a free study.

You wont be able to tell what my image is. It was taken from a foot away wide angle and I did only use a portion of the image. In focus and very abstract, yet my scores do suck. I guess I need not to have been that abstract.
