Has anyone bought from this outlet?

This is their site. I found a great price here and was wondering if people have dealt with them in the past.

Here is a link to the on ResellerRatings.

Just wanted to run it by you all before I made a decision.

Thanks,
Lee

I have used them for a couple of items. No problems at all, I would recommend them.

What are you going to buy:)?

That's a great price on that lens. Just be careful, it doesn't say if it's an import or not, but the warranty is for only 1 year. On B+H it doesn't say either, but the warranty there is for 3 years. If buying from TheCameraBox, I would play it safe and add the Mack 7 year warranty for another 30 bucks.

Thanks Tranquil. I just ordered Canon 5D from them as they seem like a legit company after reading the reviews. One thing, I wanted to get a lens and their site says in stock but when I called I was told the lens is out of stock. So, I would recommend calling before buying if you want the item right away. Also, the shipping is a bit high. I paid $80 for shipping, but the price altogether is still lower than anywhere else.

Thanks for the advice!

Looks like grey market and/or b-stock merchandise looking at the responses on resellerratings.com. Your camera/lenses will not likely have a warranty card or UPC code on the box. I would avoid this (though, the collective satisfaction level at resellerratings is pretty high) if I wanted a remote chance of being able to replace under warranty.

But suppose I take extra good care of my equipment --- from a mere quality standpoint is it a good idea?

I just want to report that I ordered a camera and a lens from camerabox yesterday and it arrived today. WOW super fast shipping and I'll admit that the service was incredible. Everything was in perfect condtion, all sealed, not even a finger print on any of the items. I am impressed.

Of note, sometimes items are reserved as online stock.
