Okay, looks like we have a team, now we just need a name and a logo.

Thinking along the lines of the Neufinators or the Photonators or something like that..........ideas, suggestions?

Somebody was lobbying for 12, but I think southern_exposure hasn't responded to that yet.

See? This is what happens when you get a life! Dangit! I had to earn money today to support my bad habit! Come on! One more team, there are people who still want to do this, right?

And one more question, you said earlier in the thread that we can't show our photo to our teammates because of possible cheating, understandable but at the same time, isn't this a great opportunity for learning, sharing and having your teammates critique your shot for you before the challenge so you can make adjustments if needed? I don't think, knowing the calibar of people that are participating so far that we would have teammates voting high just to raise their average, would we?

No, but that's not the issue. This competition is taking place within the context of regular DPC Challenges, and if teams of 7 photographers join together to jointly critique and improve each others' images we are making a mockery of the collaboration clause in the Challenge Rules.

This is REALLY important. What we're doing here is supposed to be a light-hearted, relaxed, "fun" thing. If we blow it out of proportion it is going to have repercussions, backlash if you will, with the membership at large.

PLEASE don't push the DPC rules by sharing/critiquing your entries among yourselves.

Sorry about that I was up till 5:30 a.m. last night updating the site and had to get up at 7:00 am to get the kids ready for school. Had to go back to bed and sleep a little (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz).

Someone was requesting 12 teams?

Oh man, you mean we may not get to do it?

I like Pixelstorm. Since nobody else has the captain as part of the name, maybe that or um......a combination of all of our cameras even. I know we have Canon, and Fuji.

Could be the Fujinons!
