Well the long wait and endless saving is finally over.
Today I took stock of This Lense as I have been wanting One for Ages, while I was pondering I went completely bonkers and bought a 1.4 Converter to compliment the Lense, traded my 18-55kit lense that I got with my 350D and bought a 17-40 f4,
No I am not loaded, "just Mad for it" I really hopr my new stuff will help me become so much more creative as I have become so inspired by the support I have received from my new found family !

Cheers.

Joe

Well, in my Canon 20D + 70-200mm f/2.8 IS went fritzo this evening again. 3rd time I'm having to send this combo back to Canon in 5 months.

You might be able to drop a 70-200mm with a good chance of it still working. I am starting to become very curious about whether one will keep working after you've thrown it thru the plate glass windows of Canon USA's offices.

Ya... Just read the other thread.

I've been really lucky with my Canon gear, and not had any weird problems considering the amount of work it has done.

Hope you get yours sorted, it's a great combo when it's all working right.
