Does this make sense to everybody?

March 27th: Week 1 announced, everybody enters.
April 3rd: Week 1 voting starts, Week 2 announced, everybody enters.
April 10th: Week 1 results, 8 people advance, voting starts and since everybody will have entered the 8 second rounders will have submissions.
April 17th: Week 2 results announced, 4 advance. All 8 will have already submitted so the 4 will have entries.

Maybe that just makes it more confusing. The bottom line is you should have an entry every week until you know you have lost, then you are back to entering on your own terms.

Maybe I should relinquish my place then? I don't return home until late on the 9th April. Unless of course somebody could text me the challenge and I'll see if I can get lucky (of course, thats if I advance).

I like the top 3, cuz it keeps two more shooters in the game in the final round. I'm OK with 4 payouts, though.

Assuming $300 pot, then 150/100/50 or 150/75/37.50/37.50 seems reasonable to me. or 150/100/25/25...

If $320 pot, make winner 170...

after the minor paypal fees I'll add up what's left in the pot.

I never have liked 3rd and 4th paying out the same though.

so how about 150/90/40/20?

That's just based on $300. I'll add what ever else is left after paypal fees to 3rd place.

Assuming we don't get all 16 in the pot, we need a contingency for how to deal with a top-4 image not being in the pot. Especially if the one that wins isn't part of the pot... Possibly take the payout of the non-gambler and split it evenly between the other 3 :-)

The way I see it Bret can't win.

If Bart beats me, then he is just a professional photographer (bully) pickin' on a beginner. And stealin' $20 from me to boot.

If Berts camera breaks or something, and I win, it will be a huge upset. Kinda like my Steelers dishin' out the slap down to the Colts this year.

BTW, I'm hoping for a macro challenge.
