I noticed this with 3 images in the 2 sec exposure challenge, and have just had it happen with 1 in Hands.

My usual method of voting is:
1) Have a couple of look through's of the thumbs, opening any that have particular impact/interest
2) Have a full pass through, scoring and commenting on those that particularly strike me (this may take one or two separate sessions depending on number of entries
3) Have a second pass through scoring all and commenting if I have time
4) If time permits a third and final view.

Between stages 2 and 3, when voting in the 2 sec Challenge, I discovered 3 images scored as 10's which, regretfully for them, I would never have scored that high. I couldn't remember even allotting a score to them on that first pass through.

I corrected the scores, and mused that I must somehow have scored them and scored them that high by mistake.

But now the same thing has happened, fortunately with only one shot, while doing my first pass through on Hands. An image I know I did not score, and would not have scored a 10 has turned up in my scores of 10 list.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

It has never happened to me. Could it be that instead of clicking on the two arrows ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 >>), you clicked 10? Just a thought.

i had the similar experience but i count it as some cookie/web/lag issue ... but ... :-S

GuGi - I thought that the first time, I just must have hit the 10 instead of the arrows. I was surprised though, because having voted on probably over a dozen challenges or more, I knew it had never happened before the 2 second exposure Challenge.

If it hadn't happened again today with Hands, I would have probably figured that that was what it was and let it go. But it reminded me of another post in the week where tristalisk was wondering how an average photo got scored 10's. Perhaps this is how.

And that explains all my low scores lately...DOH!! Just joking!
