These seem like two very obvious challenge topics.

1. Architecture - rather self explanatory unless you want to restrict it in some way such as churches, dwellings, modern etc.
2. Natural Framing - Using something in the composition to frame at least two sides of the shot.

Great choices. Would love to especially see the architecture challenge. With the diversity of the members here from around the globe, that would be really interesting.

they've done architecture before, but the framing sounds sort of neat.

I can't believe it! I was just going to suggest frames, and then saw this post! Awesome!

Yes! Frames would be great. Using frames.. they don't need to be natural though.

Architechture.. this was done quite a while ago.. I even missed it, and I have been here since last April. I wouldn't mind trying that out. Can anyone suggest a new spin on that subject?

How about "Architechture revisited"

I like both architecture and frames. In addition, how about something where the theme has to be "interpreted" especially when it will be done differently by different people ... like "Order within the Chaos" or "Chaos inside of Order".

I recently saw some searchlights at night in front of a store and they were in a perfect "fan" of 5 beams all evenly spaced. It was starting to snow heavily and the snow was dancing around in the light beams very randomly. All I could think of was that there was chaos inside the order. It was quite beautiful and I didn't have the camera with me.

Yeah, you just have to point out that it was already done don't you. ;P
Only 66 entries in the first architecture challenge, but I am sure that this is one everyone would participate in now.

Yup, I'd love to have a crack at this one. This is a challenge with limitless subjects so who cares if it's been done before?
