I am not sure how this could be coordinated, but there does seem to be a lot of discussion about just how realistic and/or valuable having our pictures eval'd by peers is to us.

If nothing more just a "once and for all" settlement, I would like to suggest that a panel of professional and semi-professional photographers review a few of the archived challenges just to see how th lineup of picture would fall differently. If it is too much problem to have the whole of any particular challenge completely renumbered, at least the top 10 of each challenge being examined.

Who knows there may or may not be any surprises.

Well, seeing as this has yet to generate any discussion, how about articles from professionals on how to give a fair score to pictures?

This has been suggested a gratd deal in the short period I have been here, and I agree it would be useful however there seems to be an overwhelming response against it each time it comes up.

I think one thing I have learned here if I learned anything is "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you". If that idea is followed you'll get plenty enough from the site in the way of good information.

Just grade fairly, give folks the benefit of the doubt, maintain a positive versus negative outlook when rating and remember..if you ain't smiling when you are here why are you here.

My overall average score given is rising all the time, my photographic ideas come quicker than ever and I am definitely smiling more here..see :-D
