Cricket is correct, but it is not like the normal cricket. This game has alot more action, much shorter version (80min max and the game is over).

Thats me in the photo - missing the ball.

I missed because the guy bowling (almost like pitching) is bowling that ball toward me at above 140km/h.
Off course I had the added preasure of the camera pointing at me.

It is great fun - EXTREMELY fast. I would say that Americans would be good at this form of the game. Due to the fact that is is being played on a court.
Your reactions must be very fast and the higher you go the more bruised you get. Does anybody know what a carpet burn is? You get plenty of these whilst playing this game.

IT IS CALLED INDOOR CRICKET. It is being played world wide, at the moment South Africa is one of the stronger countries. We beat England last year 5 - 0 in a 5 test series.

YEP! it is indoor cricket and very popular here in Australia, as is the usual outdoor game.

We don't mention the outdoor version after Australia humiliated the Boks in the first 5 day match. My original plan was to go to Cape Town and watch the game - Luckily I didn't go.

Anyhow - do you play Indoor? I made provincial this year. Having Springbok trials later on in the year, I hear they are talking about an Australian tour for us.
