This is the Dutch translation, but I guess that won't help you either, lol.
Boter, brood en groene kaas. Wie dat niet zeggen kan, is geen echte Fries. |

Originally posted by biteme: you know fotomann, this is weird. I know my monitor is correctly calibrated with the software inside my mac. I do this every once in a while, say, once a month, to be absolutely sure my monitor is ok.
when I check my photo's on other monitors (I always do when I enter a challenge), they are most of the time darker then I've seen it on my own monitor (like my "rebel" photo), or too white (like my "mother" and "new life2" photos). I know I should calibrate them first too, to be really sure about the contrasts, but why? I don't think the voters have calibrated their monitors too? |
OK, a message from one of your local Mac consultants--when you are setting your colorsync prefs in monitor calibration, instead of choosing Macintosh gamma (1.8) use PC gamma instead (2.2)! It's a warmer gamma and works well with lab processing too. HTH! |

Well done, Fotomann ;-)
In Dutch we'll say:
U gaat door voor de wasmachine! |

I am happy to say at home my monitor is calibrated perfectly, I can see each and every individual shade without a problem. Work, however, is different, the last 3 black shades look all the same so guess I'll be taking the calibration tool there to fix it! |
