Ever wanted to know how you match up to someone else over all the challenges you have both done. I was writing in this thread and was looking back at all the challenges me and Randod300 had shot for and to see who beat the other….and thought it might be cool to see how you stack up to others, for fun…don’t get to serious about it. Anyways…don’t know if that has ever been suggested or not…if so I’m one more for it…if not who would like it? Don’t know how much trouble it would be to make it happen just pie-in-the-sky dream’n.

Similar to making a side-by-side camera comparison when shopping ... probably the trickiest part is getting the two usernames into the selection boxes (spelled correctly and all) -- a drop-down list with 55,000 names ain't gonna work : )

Otherwise it sounds like a moderately complicated database query and a formatting a table for output ... but that's just a guess 'cause I don;t do that kind of work (whew!).

Exactly like when you are shopping for a camera, in this case the merchandise is not for sale…unless stated in their profile. Yea the dropdown list is out of the question...but it is easy enough to slide your cursor over a username and copy/paste it into the given fields. That would be the easy part…

I sort of do that with my favorites list. I also compare by camera. Unfortunately not many people have kept with the Sony DSC-H1, so I have few people to actually compare to. One of my favorite competitors, though she doesn't have the same camera, is Judy (Jutilde) I do have fun seeing which one of us beat the other if we participated in the same challenge. Most of my favorite photographers are ones that I consistantly look up for purposes of comparison as well as to give them much needed comments if they seem to have few on their portfolio images. I wish more people would consider watchdogging a few photographers (like me) who get few comments on their portfolios. I try to comment back when one is left for me, and when I leave comments I would appreciate some coming back to me as well, but that is my way of doing things.

This feature seems to be in more need now due to the new League of Death

Glad the people upstairs likes the idea...isn't that really the only thing that matters.
