I remember when I was watching Peter Jacksons production diaries when he was shooting King Kong, that was shot on film, one of the diaries covered when they were transferring the film to digital by means of a scanner. Very interesting.
I was also under the understanding that the last 2 Star Wars films were shot fully digital as I seem to remember George Lucas put an advert out in one of the trade rags publically thanking the development team at Kodak (I think) who developed the digital system he used.
I guess its all a matter of preference.
Incredibly interested to hear that Corpse bride was shot on a Canon DSLR though.. Nikon Lenses though??! |

I think it was mainly duew to the fact they had like 70K in nikon glass already...
