Which would you choose? 1.3x crop factor on the IIn or full frame 5D?

what do you need it for, the 5D is only 3 fps, and the mk IIn is more for sports and speed,
it has the canon weather proofing,
but its only 8.3 megs.
hmm, i think it depends on what its main us is going to be,

Yeah, it depends on the main use.

If I had a million dollars. I'd be going for the 1d Mk IIn

Fantastic in every way.

yeah, the MK IIn is a nice camera and all, its fast, and has the full body, but, i think you might be better off with the 5D and the BGE-4, its not as expensive, and you got the 12 megs,

i shot at a nascar track last week, and 3 fps worked out fine,

so it comes down to megs and speed, who cares about the full body, thats just a batt grip

Yeah, good point Troy.

The only reason I didn't decide to buy the 1d Mk II is that it is a full body. I think that's too large for everyday use. I'd prefer the 1d in a package the same size as the 5D or 20D. I would probably get a BG for it, but I probably wouldn't take it with me all the time. Only on vacations and if I ever got around to learning how to do a model shoot.

It all depends on what your style of shooting is. But let me tell you this...once you start shooting at 8.5 fps anything lower will seem anemic...When and if a Full Frame 8.5 fps Canon comes out I'll be all over it.
