Really nice photo. What do you mean by Cross Processing?

Cross Processing is when you process neg film (c-41) in slide film (e-6) chemistry or vise versa.

It gives the film higher contrast and odd colors, often slightly tinted one way or another depending which way you do the cross, and with interesting densities of tone. |

I really like that effect. What are the main tools in PS you used? - Or is it a complex mixture of layers and filters? |

curve adjustment layers. I think there is an action for it over at action exchange.

It looks really good. I like the old-fashioned look to that photo.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but I found the "Urban Acid" action over here (alphabetical order)
desription:
"This action tries to mimic a cross-processing technique used in some glamour, fashion, and urban photography. It skews and saturates colors, while dramatically increasing contrast. The action does all this by creating an aggressive curves adjustment layer (which is user adjustable). Secondly, the action creates a black layer which can be used to desaturate/mute the colors. This can be accomplished by changing the opacity of the layer."

Very nice image as always.
Jhonan, here is another link you might find interesting. It's PS tutorial on the cross process. You don't even have to watch the video to see what he did since it has screenshots of the curves adjustment used.

This maybe a dumb question but how do I use the actions I download from that action exchange website? |
