hmm... 1 light year= 6 trillion miles.... this nebula is 80 light years long...

... I'd call the clearly visible formation a coincidence....

It is interesting because the article states that gravity fields around a black hole begin to twist and theory holds that galaxy centers contain monster black holes. The fact that this nebula is 300 light years from the center of the galaxy and showing the effect "in theory" of the warped gravitational fields is fairly stunning.
