I had the privelage of photographing and editing some of the most interesting faces I saw when I vistited Toronto last weekend.
Here are some homeless people I met
And here are a few other candids of people on the street, self portraits and what not from around the area
Any feedback would be appreciated

Great as usual. However, there is something about the first three that is lacking, IMO. The post processing is almost "too good" if you know what I mean. Everything is too clean, too photogenic, which rightly or wrongly doesn't fit well with a photo of a homeless man, IMO. As such I find myself liking the other photos in this group more, especially "blow" which has a more raw look to it. I think Kel mentioned in that one to remove the crud from her hands. If it were me I wouldn't do that only because it's part of the image that makes up who that person was at that instant.
Anyway, just my opinion. Don't take it the wrong way as I'm a fan of your work. :)
ETA: Edited for clarity

Hey Joey - very nice work. I got my first "homeless pic" earlier this week, but I will be studying your techniques here and head down to the city with a pocket full of change the first chance I get.
I left a comment on each, but be forewarned, I've had very little sleep in the past 4 days and I've been drinking this evening. :) |

Amazing shots! Thousands of people walk by these people every day but none see them as you do. Your post processing skill is remarkable to transform what could easily be a simple snapshot into a piece of art. |

Should have done this a long time ago. Added to my favorites.
These are just wonderful. You are a master of post processing, but even more, a keen eye makes us see the everyday world in a totally new way.
Thanks for sharing.

Just think, one of these days (probably soon!) we can all say "Hey, I knew him when..."
Nice work, Mr. Lawrence. |

Excellent series Joey. What amazes me the most is not just the awesome skill you have, but your sense of compassion and care for a part of society that many people your age ignore....heck most of society of any age seems to try to ignore! Thank you for sharing these great photos and a bit more of yourself with us.
