Half Infinity

And how do you do the thumbnail thing instead of just posting a link.

Use the third icon from the left. Just make sure your images aren't huge because people who are on dial up will be miserable ;)

thats not a thumbnail that you posted...and the third button from the left asks me for a weird link for the "image=" part and none of my links have that.

Anyway, don't worry about it, what do ya'll think of the picture?

I like it very much. the textures are incredible. I like the tone range too and the fact that it is not oversaturated or over contrasted. The downpoint is that it could like like a drawing.

you won't be able to post "thumbnails" as you are a registered user. Members get portfolios ;)

Hi Kevin,
Welcome to DPC!

Two things:

1) Before I signed up as a member, I discovered that a good way to post thumbnails is to save two different sized images to your image server; one max 640 pixels and one max 120 pixels. When you post them to a thread, first use "Insert Image" icon to post smaller image and then link to the larger with "Insert Hyperlink"

This is what it will look like, using an image I had sitting around:

Link to image

2) I stuck around this site because of the great feedback I got on my images (One of which was remarkably similar to yours). Here's my feeble attempt to "pay it forward". Hopefully this will bump you back up for some more critiques.

Technically, it seems sharp and fairly well exposed. Since it's so abstract it's hard for me to say much else...The texture is nice and the curve lends a bit of interest; but other than that, there's not much to keep my attention for very long. It looks like you've got an eye for B/W and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Cheers,
Roxanne
