I'm very happy now, a nice sigma 170-500mm lens (f5-6.3) and a flipping lovely manfrotto tripod, its so nicely built compared to my old cheap one, so solid and smooth.
Anyway, just felt the need to shout about my new purchases, now I've got to live up to them and produce great images using them!!! |

bfox, thank you, but what about my new lens and tripod? :-)
heres one of the pics from my trip to the beach, I can't wait to try it on a day with good waves and sunshine!!

| feel free to tinkle, probably unfair to blame it on the lens, photographer has to accept majority of the responsibility for softness!! I've got to experiment with settings etc |
