So, I've recently bought myself a lovely new 500mm lens and one of the things I'd like to do is take shots of surfers on the numerous cornish beach.

I've only spent a couple of hours on the beach doing this so far but I've already been approached by people who'd like to see images of themselves.

So the question is, where do I stand with selling these images? Am I allowed to sell these pictures? They are in public view but I don't have model releases (though a lot of the time they are not even recognisable people). common sense would suggest I can sell images to the people in them without model releases because by buying them they are consenting!
Can I sell the images to other people though???

I've read on the site before that some of you attend motorbike shows etc and sell the images to those who attended, how do you do this in terms of releases
