I'm looking to build a portfolio (for personal and business use). I'd like to have one as a compilation of portrait work and a second with misc. categories like "wildlife" "landscapes" "yada yada yada".
What is a standard (or generally good size) of prints to use? and can anyone point me in the right direction for good portfolios to use?
Any other suggestions would be great too. |

Smugmug
is a great place for an online portfolio.
And if you have any questions about the site go here
or ask. I know a little about smugmug but dgrin is the best resource for them.
For print sizes it is according what market you are going after. For landscape shot I would say bigger is better. For portrait work you wil want to offer packages with many different sizes. Smugmug is looking into offering packages such as that to their customers.
